    The doors open at 7:30 AM for registration.

    This workshop is for HR professionals, new and seasoned supervisors, aspiring supervisors, team leaders and individuals with supervisory training responsibility.  With two group exercises, we will cover the below.

    Gregg Bennett

    Mr. Bennett is Director of Alabama Technology Network-Gadsden Center and ATN Stakeholder Relations Manager.

    Prior to developing the Center in 1987, Bennett served as assistant to the Vice-President of Economic and Community Affairs at the University of Alabama.  Before that, he was Senior Economic Developer for the South Carolina Appalachian Council and Director of the Governor’s Export Advisory Council.  He taught at Limestone College in Gaffney South Carolina and started work at the US Department of Commerce.  He holds both BA and MA degrees from the University of Alabama.

    He has served on the executive committees of the Consortium of Manufacturing Competitiveness, Trans-Atlantic Technology and Training Alliance, National Coalition for Advanced Manufacturing Technology, and the Working Committee of The President’s Council on Vocational Education.  He has twice received the IBM Excellence in CIM Leadership Award and, the Alabama Community Service Award.

    He has published several pieces on technology education and economic development, and on partnerships for workforce development.  He has consulted on numerous projects on technology transfer and workforce development in the US and Europe.
